We’re Dara & Brendan, the husband-and-wife team behind Bohemian Photo Collective.

After photographing hundreds of weddings together, we’ve learned that great wedding photography isn’t about choosing between beautiful portraits and genuine moments. It’s knowing when each one matters.

You hired professionals for a reason, and we believe in making the most of every moment. We aren’t just there to document what happens. We bring our experience and creative perspective to every part of your wedding, looking for beautiful light, thoughtful compositions, and opportunities to create something meaningful.

Some moments deserve a little guidance. Others are better left untouched. We’ll step in when we see an opportunity to thoughtfully compose a beautiful portrait, then step back and let the day unfold around you.

We’re always watching for the moments that can’t be planned: the quick glance, the unexpected laugh, the tears, and the reactions happening all around you. Having two of us means we can be present for more of those moments. While one of us is creating a thoughtfully composed portrait, the other is watching what’s happening beyond the frame, capturing the people, reactions, and emotions that make the day feel complete.

Our approach is fine-art and intentional, using light, movement, perspective, and composition to create photographs that are thoughtfully crafted while still feeling natural, emotional, and true to the moment.
